Lately I’ve been thinking about the concept of traveling, what it means to me and how it’s related to the perception of distance and time.

It’s a mix of sensations and feelings: the sense of a new beginning, but at the same time, of something left behind. There’s a sense of change, a new start - it’s a break, an end and a beginning. A door has closed but another is opening. The act of traveling is strangely chaotic, confusing, and frantic on one hand, but also introspective, personal, melancholic and quiet on the other. The two sides of the same coin - a moment in transition.
